I bought this because my Blu-ray drive doesn't fit in my computer case. It works but has some downsides. Pros: - Inexpensive - Windows recognized my Blu-ray drive immediately - No setup or drivers required. Cons: - USB cable and power adapter are very short. . It comes with a basically vibration-dampening mouse pad. He's nervous by nature. It works and is significantly cheaper than buying a complete optical drive enclosure. However, since the cables that come with it are very short, I have to put the drive on the floor to get to the computer and the nearest outlet. This is far from ideal and more nervous than I expected. Of course you can always get longer cables, but now you save when buying this product instead of a full case.
