. first nephew who grew up enough to buy REALLY cool stuff for

decided to be a "cool" aunt Basically, I'm waiting for the first nephew in the family to grow old enough to buy REALLY cool stuff. The children's scene left me at a loss for interesting things. Actually it was a hit. As he gets older, he'll get books, science kits, and creative yin-yang toys, but I was determined not to just get him some brightly colored, noisy thing for Christmas. I was very happy to find blocks big enough for a one year old to be safe and really something for him to grow up with as they are 1-5 year olds. There's enough in the kit to make the giraffe pictured on the box (his dad is a big baby and he had to find out about it straight away so dad and grandpa had fun after the nephew fell asleep. Elliot seemed to enjoy it though, and they caught his attention). Spring. He's 13 months old and while he's not quite ready to take apart locked bricks yet, he's learned to put them back together and I think he and dad will bond quickly. We'll probably add a few block packs to our collection once he starts feeling a little better. At that price I now see a reason not to buy him a giant Rubbermaid bath to fill them up.<3
