We have Explore Air. The price is great. The quality is good, but the size didn't fit. I assume cutting paper is fine because you want to cut through it. Cutting vinyl can be challenging. Because the blades are a bit longer, they cut through the vinyl and substrate, making the job a lot harder. Changing the settings did not fix the problem. However, I found a workaround. By placing playing cards in the blade holder slide, you can adjust the height of the blade holder. I found 3 playing cards to be perfect for cutting through all of the vinyl but not the backing.
