I LOVE these shocks on my 2001 Durango 4WD. What did NOT impress me was the bottom bracket. Both bushings crumpled when I tightened them to the recommended 80 ft-lbs torque. It turns out that the split sleeve does not withstand pressure and twisting. I ordered replacement Prothane 19-906 polyurethane bushings (perfect fit) and stainless steel tubing (3/4 OD x 1/2 ID), cut to length of bushings installed (1.64"), pressed out old bushings, pressed in new , it turned on immediately with no problems. Gabriel's support was quick to respond but they said "return to place of purchase" which meant "get new ones with the same split bushings" and encounter the same issues. I LOVE the shock ride. It really annoys me that the hardware didn't even survive the installation.
