After realizing that using the Internet on a seven-inch tablet was a frustrating experience, I decided to upgrade to a tablet with a ten-inch screen. It lived up to all of the expectations, and on a 10-inch screen, the internet looks even better. In addition to this, reading books, particularly technical information that is presented in graphic representations, is a lot more comfortable (pdf, djvu). Separately, I thought the battery did a good job. I did not specifically measure the amount of time it could operate, but for a full day of reading in the room mode on the train, it was sufficient with extra time to spare. Although I did not use "heavy" programs on it and I did not play games, I did not see any unusual latency during my testing. The pace of the video did not appear to decrease at any point. It didn't creak or dangle in the hands, and it didn't move about much either. Now, onto the negatives. The function of delayed auto-lock did not work properly. That is to say, the delay could be adjusted to any value, but the lock activated soon after it was switched off, despite the adjustments that were made. The display would occasionally (but not frequently enough) become "dumb," giving the impression that certain areas of it had lost their sensitivity. Because of this, scrolling through the pages was a highly frustrating and uncomfortable experience. It would appear that after one of the most recent meals, the problem was resolved. I accidentally dropped it multiple times, including a couple of times while it was charging, directly on the connector. The sheer mass of the gadget caused the connector on the native cable to be shattered, and it also caused damage to the socket that was housed within the device itself. Despite the fact that it was charging regularly, the cord's ability to establish a connection with the computer ceased functioning. As a direct consequence of that previous fall, the screen ended up crashing right on top of the angled piece of iron. After asking for ten thousand dollars for a replacement, which is about equivalent to the cost of a brand new one, the service ended up losing it entirely. In general, I would say that the device withstood all of these mistreatments rather admirably, and if I had been more responsible and purchased a cover for it when I had the chance, it would still be functioning today.
