This kit practically pays for itself by removing and replacing a valve core. I purchased this kit and within a month had already replaced two valve cores on an old bike I bought for refurbishment and one valve core on my wife's bike due to slime sticking to the valve. If you drive a lot, bike a lot, use slime or other additives, you will eventually have to remove and install the valve cores, which saves you a lot compared to buying new hoses when you only need one valve. Vein. This tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. Remove/remove and replace Schrader and Presta valve cores. Update 03/15/2020 Originally 5 stars, now 1 star. I had to replace another valve core on my wife's rear pipe. I inserted the tool, turned it very hard and was able to successfully remove the valve core, but in doing so it bent the tool's teeth (shown in the photos) and I don't think I can use the Schrader valve again. It was enough for exactly 4 valves, so I can't recommend this kit. Must look for a more durable valve core tool.
