GREAT! I'm a gluten-free vegan and use it for veggies rather than panini. I use it to roast eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and even vegan corn muffins. The top opens 180 degrees by pressing the hinge button on the side. The top can also be tilted with a wooden spoon to adjust the height of the food to be grilled. The removable drip tray is also great for catching grease or dripping water. It fits two small sandwiches or one large sandwich. I cut 3 small zucchini lengthwise and they fit on the grill. OMG they were amazing! Just the right size for both of us! Also have a bigger one if you have a family. Just buy it!
