Review on 🔑 Honeywell 6160RF: Innovative Custom Alpha Integrated Keyboard/Transeiver for Enhanced Control by Taurus Monsalve

This device has replaced the 6150 RF Keyboard (not Alpha). It uses the same mounting holes so all you have to do is unscrew the old plate and screw this one on. No holes need to be re-drilled. It's the same 4 wire setup, just connect the RBYG wires from the old panel to this new one. I believe the default keyboard layout for Vista 15p is 16. To set the new keyboard layout hold down 1 and 3 (after connecting the wires). He will ask you for the location of the keyboard. Enter "16" as the default keyboard position. Also, the display can be easily misinterpreted when you turn on the zone beeper. If the system is not armed, it will display "Disarmed" and if the door/window alarm is on, it will display "Ringing". If you look at the keyboard, it says "Disabled Chime". It just means the system is off but the beeper is on! You must put a comma between them! Anyway, when I managed to repeatedly turn off the beep due to my misinterpretation of the keyboard, I was done.
