My previous pouch had a velcro closure. When new, it can make noises that draw unwanted attention in meetings. The velcro eventually wore out and slowly stopped holding the lid. That is not the case in this case. The magnetic closure is secure yet easy to open. I usually carry my bag by threading the strap through the loops. With summer approaching in Wisconsin, I'm also using a clip-on. It's very durable and I'm sure my phone and bag won't slip. Recommend this product. Economical, well designed and made from quality materials.
