
This is a very, very cheap tent for the bed of a minivan. Unfortunately, these tents typically cost over $150 and aren't much more durable. The reason I'm keeping the tent is that I'm hoping to use the tent as a reference and make my own with a stronger fabric. I haven't tested the fabric but I doubt it's waterproof. The saving grace is that with a hatchback, the top of the tent is covered by the hatchback, providing protection from the weather.
