You will not be disappointed. It was the easiest setup right out of the box. The screen comes with adhesive hooks which are great for textured outdoor tiles. I used a 4K Firestick and the image was crystal clear. My phone's camera blurred the video, but it wasn't. You can definitely use it without the screen on as long as you have a blank, untextured interface. However, the screen improves the picture. You can adjust the picture and sound settings. I recommend doing this before you start painting. At first I was disappointed with the sound quality until I realized it could be changed and then cinema quality sound appeared. I was surprised at the volume the speaker could produce. WiFi functions could not be used because Firestick was already connected. My son looks forward to using this for game night! This is definitely a great investment for future movie nights with friends and family.
