I specifically needed a blue cartridge so when the package arrived I took out one of the blue cartridges, removed that tape from above and put it in place. The first thing I did was run the printhead cleaning program. The printer came back saying it was defective and you need to call HP. I followed the troubleshooting tips that came with the ink and the printer worked again but it said the cyan cartridge was defective. I put in a second cyan cartridge and it seems to be working fine. As a result, one of the two blue cartridges is defective. I haven't tried the others yet because I don't need them yet. I will update as I do. One star off for a defective cartridge. Edit I tried the cyan cartridge again and it works. I have already used up all but two of the cartridges and will soon be using the last color cartridge (magenta). I will buy this again.
