Review on GE Profile PEM31SFSS Countertop Microwave: Stylish and Efficient Kitchen Appliance by Chris Drury

I just received this microwave and haven't even used it yet. In the meantime, I would like to thank all consumers who have continued to ask questions about the height of this device and those who have responded. As a former owner of two Spacemaker II microwave ovens, like many others, I was looking for a replacement for the models that fit the 24Wx12DX12H space. I actually built a freestanding cabinet with these dimensions, assuming there would always be a comparable model. When this model was released, the height was listed as 12-7/8 inches. I kept searching for the right microwave and found many consumers asking the same. GE's responses actually said something like "You will need to modify your case" to fit the new model. I ordered another smaller model and it looked ridiculous in space. I then stumbled upon the Q&A here and was surprised to see that the actual wearers measured the size as 11-7/8 which is a full inch shorter than the item description states. Try it, order it and lo and behold! and so! it fits as if the place was made for it. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who solved my microwave dilemma! (This experience underscores the importance of answering a customer's question when Revain directs the question to you.)
