Plug and Play - no fancy settings! worked for the elderly to call us at night.
Bought because my mother in law needed someone to help her go to the toilet at night. We attached a button to her walker and placed her by the bed. We hooked up a doorbell just outside our bedroom. Went like clockwork. The call was loud enough but we didn't play with the volume so I have no idea how high or low it is.
