Review on Suede Shearling Coat SM Blue by Isabel House

I don't normally buy clothes for my dog but this was a great purchase! That winter, the hair on my dog's back and sides began to inexplicably thin and fall out. I needed something to keep him warm in the Chicago winter while I was getting my hair loss. The coat is very well made, with a nice soft fleece lining. I love the ribbons the most! My dog hates a coat that slips over his head. But instead of a hole for the head, this coat has straps that can be wrapped around the dog's neck. It's like covering your back with a blanket. The straps attach easily and securely with Velcro. It is easy to adjust so my dog never feels smothered or constricted by the fur. Ditto for the straps fastened around his chest/abdomen. He is a pit bull mix and has a fairly thick neck and chest. The straps are long enough to wrap around and keep the coat securely in place without constricting. We went for a 30 minute walk in the single digits and when we came back his skin was still nice and warm under his coat. . That is very gratifying! My dog is about 26 inches from the base of the neck to the base of the tail and weighs 86 pounds (yes, he weighs about 10 pounds and the coat still matches his fullness). Size XL is only 2.5 cm from the base of the tail. As much as I love this coat, I wish it came in a more waterproof version. But this coat gets 5 stars for looks and functionality.
