I agree because when someone like the Rhino brand has developed a sewer hose and your hose on one accessible location is required, this key could be useful. Since I was able to find every Valterra Viper channel key I had, I figured I'd at least try as these connections are very tight and as we age this connection becomes more difficult. However, this tool's configuration does not work with a Valterra Viper sewer hose or in tight spaces where my sewer hose is attached to the compartment of my Class A Winnebago. It helped when I needed to add an extension hose, at least because the sewer hose connections were free, so I had more flexibility to get a wrench to help with this connection.
