I bought these to bandage my ankle. They're stickier than Coach brands or other inexpensive sports tape and get the job done, but aren't super sticky either (for example, definitely not sticky like the more durable KT kinesiotape). It's not sticky enough for the ankle. Supportive parts (especially around the foot) tend to slip under stress when you sweat. The bottom line is that adhesion deteriorates with sweat. This is typical of most sports cartridges, so I can't turn it off completely. If anything, it sticks a little better, and at least on itself. I like finger tape. I use it for jiu jitsu. However, it's a bit wider than I like to hold my fingers together (it tends to create small wrinkles if you change the angle while working with the band, making the finger band less stable and more prone to slipping). Gorilla Tape is the best brand for this. Or just plain old Coach tape ripped into thinner strips. The little "teeth" on the side of the tape are great for cutting, also if you want to remove the tape. Not so useful on fingertape (fingertape can be removed by simply unrolling it, not tearing it apart)
