This is a great light, but the price of $149 without the fluorescent light is about $40 more than I paid for my Hagen light. These lanterns have been discontinued and new lanterns from old stock are now in short supply. This led to price gouging. Hagen has released an updated version of the Hagen T5 flashlights under the Fluval brand name. Uniform lighting systems no longer exist. The units are currently available in dual and quad versions in 24", 36" and 48" lengths. They are more expensive than the original Hagen version of these lights but are very similar in design, with robust ballasts and a industrial look You can find them on Revain by typing Fluval T5 lighting.
