When you unpack this bowl, the first thing that strikes you is its small size. The immediate reaction was that it would be great for travel. The finish is polished stainless steel with a hallmark on one side that appears to be laser engraved rather than painted. The inside of the bowl has a more polished finish although the product images in the listing show a more matte finish so it takes more effort to lather this bowl. The hollow, welded, two-piece construction makes the bowl significantly lighter. Deep and Narrow Bowl Design This bowl makes frothing a little more difficult than a wider and shallower bowl. You'll find yourself hitting the inside of the bowl with the brush (think the sound a bell makes). The downsides to this bowl, given the cheap price tag of $6-7, justify my 4-star rating.
