is what you need in case of power failure. I bought it because I have a habit of buying too many fresh veggies at once. Usually from farmers markets. So I put the cookie rack on the floor and the veggies on top, add another cookie rack and ice packs. Friends advised me to buy an old refrigerator for my basement or garage, but I couldn't find one that I liked or was reasonably priced. It seemed like the best idea. Then we had a power outage due to a snow storm. I quickly grabbed what we needed from the fridge. Put milk, eggs, etc. and everything in the fridge on the same setting as for vegetables. I grabbed a shovel, filled rigid plastic bags with snow and put them in the fridge. That way we didn't go into the fridge unnecessarily, if at all. And snow is cheap and easy to use to cool the contents of the fridge. So my Coleman is great and practical. Who knows? When the pandemic is over and we're back on the road, maybe we'll put it in the back seat of the car and load it up with picnic supplies. Hey, now there's an even cooler idea!
