Most laptop coolers I've had over the years have been very noisy, but this one is very quiet. It pushes out a little less air than some of the top models I've had before, but it really is the perfect combination of airflow and noise cancellation. There are enough settings, you will find the one you like. For me it's the functionality and I really like how stable the stand is. The angle adjustment locks in well and the non-slip feet work well. I can easily carry it around the house with my laptop to work where I need it and it fits well in any room. I know it's a gaming product, but mostly when you need maximum business performance, you have to buy the "gaming" version of the product you want, because this genre doesn't skimp on performance, it sounds quiet and looks great . What more do you want?! I love it!
