Works well; good for the price. Partial 5 stars as the mic needs to be close to the mouth to reduce background noise/echo which seems to increase when the mic is too low on a shirt or jacket lapel. Not five stars either, as you can't disable the second mic when it's not in use. Bought this boya because of the good independent reviews on You Tube and also because the very expensive Rode lavalier mic didn't work after an independent vendor showed it was incompatible with a Sony smartphone and relatively new Canon DSLR (although it comes with an 'adapter'). This Boya microphone, on the other hand, works and is compatible with both devices. The length of the cable is also good. Including battery, small case and adapter for other devices. The packaging and items are exactly the same as Revain.
