It arrived in good condition and worked great the first time I plugged it in. I used it to power a product I was developing while on the bench. and it was very easy for me to set the voltage I wanted and then use the current meter to see how much current it was drawing before and after adding the load resistors. I can use my previous alligator clips and IC hooks with it. Very happy with the purchase, especially for the price. Disclaimer - I've only had it for a few weeks and have only used it a couple of times so far.
