I have used hearing aids that cost ten times the price of this unit. The device amplifies almost as well, but after a few hours it becomes uncomfortable and tends to slip out of the ear canal. I've tried each of the "plugs" and none of them were just right. I'm trying to make a stub myself to improve this feature, but I'm not sure if it will work. There is also some feedback noise when using the high gain setting. While I don't mind cosmetics, some people might not like how flashy the device is compared to other models. All in all, I applaud the manufacturer for a good effort and encourage them to keep improving the device. With a few tweaks, it could be a real winner.
