Review on Umbra Sticks Multi Hook Coat by Jeff Jones

Sturdy construction, stands up to my thick skin, easy installation with included template. Unused "hooks" disappear cleanly in the design. I was a little more surprised than I should have been (considering the price) to find that the entire visible front of the device was wood-colored injection molded plastic. The product description used the word 'wood' or implied it was made of wood, but from the carefully lit photos of the product it looked like I'd assumed it was some sort of Ikea box. With that in mind, it doesn't look *bad* up close and is reasonably well made, but it's no joke and it can look a bit garish in a well-lit, conspicuous area. EDIT: In fact, the product description uses the term "sculpted wood". "Describe the construction. If this is technically correct, then anything that qualifies as molded wood in this product is visually and tactically indistinguishable from ABS.
