As mentioned before the material which I think is like stretchy silk is very comfortable. I am medium sized; I'm 6'0" and wear 32" pants (waist) and they fit great. The lace could probably wrap around my waist twice, but I only tied a large bow and haven't noticed since. The only (minor) issue I have is the length, they go about an inch or two below the base of my heel. . This isn't a problem when lying in bed, but I think after a walk around the house they get torn or at least get dirty quicker. Maybe the material is good enough to withstand the pulling, but I'll probably undercut them a bit. Now that I've looked more closely at the picture it also shows them hitting the ground on the model so I'm leaving my rating at 5 stars as they don't claim to be anything they aren't. Overall very happy with my purchase so far.
