After using this product for a long time, I feel it deserves an evaluation. This is the only cap that fits me! I unconsciously grind my teeth a lot and STRONGLY, especially when I sleep. Aside from making my teeth ache (it hasn't been a problem until now!), the grinding tires my jaw and creates constant tension in the muscles from my chin to the crown of my head. I realized that my constant headaches and tired eyes were the result of my non-stop grinding. I started using this mouthguard a while ago (maybe a year or two?). In fact, this is the very first way I've tried it. It worked fine then. Over time I've decided to try other types including super popular and highly rated ones (the ones that let you make your own) - which has NOT worked for me at all! Tailored molds can be effective in preventing your teeth from rubbing together, but they don't really help relieve tension from the jaw muscles. Instead, this mouthguard creates a bigger gap between your upper and lower teeth, which is important (to me at least) to reduce the use of certain muscles when doing the crunch. Either way, this works best for me while others may prefer other products. Give it a try if others don't work for you.
