Difficult to clean and not always a perfect stamp

I noticed that when I kept stamping the stamp didn't come out perfect and was a bit annoying. I want it to be a little better next time. (I tried so many methods) It was also difficult to clean. I had to use 3 cotton balls which is a lot for me, usually only 1 is needed maybe half of one.
