I walk at 5 am and the streets outside of my area are pitch black. Despite the lights in my area, I was hit by a car coming out of an alley last week. I remembered how a friend of mine got a Tracer 360 as a gift, I asked her about her experience with the product and bought the device on her recommendation. Putting on the vest is easy. Elasticated reflective chest strap keeps all other components in place. The lighted hose is fastened at the back and has adjustable anchor knobs on the front, making it easy to adjust the length of the hose to fit your shoulders. I bought the XL because the chest strap is adjustable from 29" to 44" so both my husband and I can use this device. The power supply on the back has a button that allows you to turn the device on and off and select the color(s) and mode (solid/flashing) you want to use. The product is very light and will not interfere with your movement. If it weren't such a shining beacon, you wouldn't even notice it's there. I've tried it 3 times in the last week and I'm impressed! It was very strange to be so visible during my runs but there was no doubt that the riders could see me. Cars started going more than 500 feet down the street even while I was on the sidewalk. This product is lightweight, offers a free range of motion, is incredibly bright and offers good value for money. I will recommend the Tracer 360 to all my friends who run early mornings and evenings. I also bought a clip (Lone Wolf Active Safety Light) from Revain that works great with the Tracer 360. The light illuminates the road and, more importantly, allows me to see webs as I walk under low-hanging trees.
