My wife and I have an adult child with special needs who has difficulty brushing their teeth on their own. We found these U-Shaped Ultrasonic Toothbrushes to be the perfect tool to help us meet their needs. We've used several other brands that stopped working after a few months, so sometimes we have to buy her a new one when this happens. We have decided on another brand that will hopefully last longer. This particular brand stopped working properly in less than 15 days. This product was delivered on July 25th and failed to charge properly on August 10th. As you can see from the picture of our product, there are 4 contact points on the base and 1 of them is rusted and worn out. Because the product only has 2 contact points for charging, it is necessary to turn the product backwards in the base to charge it. Since the base isn't designed for that, it takes some effort to get it to load; It will not charge unless constant pressure is applied to it. We have decided to go back to our original brand with a better foundation that has no exposed touchpoints. If you have a special needs child who needs help brushing their teeth, this toothbrush is safer to live with, but since children find it difficult to keep their toothbrushes dry, this particular brand is a poor choice due to exposed contact points. I would give 0 stars if it was a choice.
