I've been looking for a hammock for a cat for a long time. I started trying a wall mounted hammock and it fell over immediately, probably due to my big burly boy and/or poor gear. My windows aren't big enough for window hammocks so I was immediately intrigued when I saw this. It wasn't exactly *easy* to put together at first, but with a little help from this review it will be. When you're putting the "half rings" together, sit down and press the other side into the ground while you're putting the pieces together. It took me 10 minutes to discover this technique and once I installed it everything was a breeze.* Second; Half rings with *2* holes in the middle are the upper part. Do not install suction cups on it. This may seem obvious, but of course I got it wrong the first time. Okay, now for the -.5 stars: The material of the hammock is good, but cat claws can get stuck in the holey material. I think this is easily fixed by putting a small pillow or Sherpa cloth on top. I understand why they used this material because it's stretchy, but yes. It is best to trim cat's claws before use when there is no excess fabric. Now for the cat part: he loves it. She has maintained his weight well and he hasn't left her since I put her in his cat zone. My cat isn't a big fan of fluffy balls as she's a grumpy old man, but the kitty will likely get mad. Overall a good product.
