Pros: It's possible to encrypt the drive with a password - that's the main reason I chose this drive. This is important in case you're traveling and the drive is lost, stolen, or accidentally left somewhere where your sensitive files are safe. The encryption program is simple and works very well - you can add/remove/change the password at any time without affecting the files on the drive and automatically unlock the drive on certain computers. Fairly good data transfer speed via USB 3.0 is not to be commended. comes to just over 100 MB/s. Cons: This drive is much thicker than my 1TB Passport drive as well as my 2TB Seagate drive. Seems like they can make this drive thinner as there are other 2TB drives that aren't as thick. The body is a magnet for fingerprints.
