Review on Genuine GM 12622410 Cooling Thermostat by Jason Gopinath

It's hard to say I love the replacement thermostat but it was an OEM replacement and fit the bill. It also appears to be an updated version. The original had a rubber gasket (on the inside) that went bad and caused problems. It doesn't have that padding so it might last longer. To clarify, this T-Stat comes with a gasket that fits on the outside of the stat body so it seals like it should. UPDATE 04 AUG 2016: This thermostat failed 361 days after I installed it. It stays open and prevents the engine from reaching the correct operating temperature.
