Well, to start, I got this fairing for my Dyna 01' lowrider. As mentioned in some other comments, depending on the style of your bike you may not need all the hardware and brackets to mount it. .I'm not very mechanical and it came with no instructions so it was a bit difficult to figure out at first but after taking it off and putting it back on everything went smoothly in the end. I first attached the hose clamps with the 4 metal clips that are held by them and then I actually attached the clip that the fairing was attached to to the fairing before connecting 2 and 2 together. Once the clamps were in place, I left them a little loose so I could adjust them if necessary and just patiently aligned everything. After installation, make sure it is centered and tighten. 5. Good buy for your money. Not the easiest install
