Review on Gislaved Soft Frost 200 205/55 R16 94T Winter by Agata Andrukiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

I have been looking for a replacement for my ten year old Goodyer UltraGrip+ for a long time. They ride great, but age made me think about replacing. For a long time I chose, read, compared with the Nokian Nordman RS2 SUV on the second car, and settled on these Gidlaveds, as a ratio of price and positive reviews. The first impressions when leaving the tire shop through unremoved snowdrifts are that they drive like a tractor. But, I left on a cleaned road, and immediately wanted to return the old tires. Compared to the Goodyer, the Gislaveds are quieter, but stiffer, and you have to catch the steering wheel, the stability control system is constantly working. And the rest of the tires are the same, that one, ten years old, and this one, new. Today, leaving the yard, at a speed of 2-3 km / h on snowy ice, the car just glided about ten meters. On the plus side, it rides confidently without slipping and paddles in deep snow, which is better than the Goodyers when they were new. If compared with Nordman, then Gislaved is much quieter and ride more comfortable, and harder - it feels, but it’s not correct to compare here, the cars are different

Pros
  • Excellent rowing in deep snow, quiet
Cons
  • Does not hold on ice at speeds close to 0 km/h
