As the title says I wasn't paying attention. This scratching post is very small and not very well made. I had mine for literally 2 days before the top ball of pink fur started to loosen and become useless from sitting on the floor. The pink ball is a plastic ball wrapped in some sort of pink yarn (it's not really yarn, it's stiffer but I don't know what it is) and mine started unrolling the day after I received it. I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure it was the attraction of him that just hung there and not my cat because my cat never cared about that thing - she's bigger than him.
