They smell but work well.
The smell is not my favorite but if you open the windows while working with it, not too bad. Someday it will get better. Otherwise they work fine. Sometimes the words, which are small carvings, fall off. But it's nice to be able to see the stamps instead of keeping them all in a bag or something.
