Okay. So 4 of us women tried on this plus size dress. Ranging from 4'11 to 5'8 and from 130 lbs. up to 170 pounds. It suits each of us, but in very different ways. The bust size in the manufacturer's table is completely correct. It starts to vary in waist and length. I definitely recommend the crinoline because it makes the dress simple. The shorter you are, the more full crinoline you will need if you want it to be shorter. At 4'11, 38E/38/34, my sister felt it was a little bleak for her no matter what, but it was a personal preference because it was still very sweet about her. At 5ft 8in he was just above my daughter's knees with a crinoline and super super cute with her longer torso. I'm 5ft 5in, 170lbs, 38/36/42 and loved it on me but it was meant for my daughter. . So of course I let her wear it. At 5ft 3", 36/32/34", it was just as cute on my niece and so on on others who tried it on. What's the difference is in the waist. The waist is large because I'm 36", my sisters 38", my daughter 34", etc. You can control the look depending on how high or low you wear the crinoline. If you have doubts about the sizing have, like me, go up a size.The material is soft and comfortable and we all personally liked the black crinoline for contrast but the white looked good too.
