Bought for my husband who has suffered from seborrheic dermatitis for many years. After a dermatologist prescribed a super expensive shampoo that seemed to make the problem worse over time, we read about using Dead Sea salt. We filled a spray bottle with water and a few teaspoons of Dead Sea Minera Salt (fine) and he sprayed it onto the scalp about 20-30 minutes before showering. At first he felt a little burnt. The next day after the first application there is no peeling of the skin! After a few days of use, the redness disappeared and stopped burning when applied. If he goes a week without it, the itchy red pimples will slowly come back. To save some time, we made a shampoo with salt, coconut oil, lime juice, and ground oatmeal. He finds it soothing on the scalp and it works wonders! We always buy more when we run out just to make him more shampoo.
