Review on 🔊 Black iSound Fire Waves Bluetooth Speaker with Microphone and Dynamic LED Light Effects by David Merculief

Tried via Bluetooth (with iPod Touch) first and then switched to a wired connection to make sure it worked. As soon as I switched to wire, I noticed a drop in quality. The rain sound (I used an app called "Sleep Machine") no longer sounded like rain and actually sounded more accurate through the iPod speaker. But the Bluetooth audio was great, so I wouldn't deduct more than 1/2 star, if that. But then I started noticing another very annoying thing. First, when you turn on the speaker with the switch, you will hear a loud annoying melody. There's no way to turn it off (I don't think so) and no way to turn the volume down. Since I use this at night when I go to bed, it's particularly annoying and mostly bothers others during the day as well. Then last night for some unknown reason it started beeping loudly at me (in the middle of the night) - I looked and the green light is still on all the time so it doesn't mean the battery needs charging. All I could find out was that the Bluetooth connection might suddenly drop (despite the devices being next to each other). However, if the Bluetooth connection was lost, why notify Obnoxius with a series of loud beeps? You would know it was lost if the music or whatever suddenly came out of the iPod instead of the speaker again. And the last annoyance: They say that you should not leave the battery connected to the computer or charger after charging, as this can damage the battery. I find it inconvenient to hang around and wait for it to charge. But it wouldn't make me deduct many stars either. The sound itself, as other people write in their reviews, is pretty good - hence 3 stars and not 1 star. it can be very loud and surprisingly good at low frequencies for such a small thing. Oh by the way, "blue" I have turquoise, not blue. If I knew about beeps and noises, I would take a closer look at the competitors, even if this one is cute, like Dickens.
