This bookcase looks great and is as strong as any piece of furniture I've ever assembled. It took less than an hour to put together, and it could have been even quicker, but I always break everything down and read through it multiple times to avoid going back and repeating things. But it was easy and everything came together nicely. I know I've read other reviews saying it's durable, but for less than $50 I was still surprised by the excellent quality. Now that I think about it, I'll see if this manufacturer makes a Superman bookshelf. The bookshelf has a small profile but can hold many books. I know everyone else bought it for their kids. I use it in our comic room to keep graphic novels. My kids love it too but I got it anyway so I won't pretend it's for them. The photos give you an idea of how much you can really put into it. You can also see it next to the TV cabinet and TV to experience the depth. I also have to say that the paint seems to be really durable. This is not a cheap decal or paint. One of the best value for money I've bought in a long time.
