Ordered in classic black - it has a slight sheen and needs a little 'breaking in' to give it a more casual and authentic look. I suspect the vintage version might be less "new" due to its textured material. Please note: My biggest issue and the reason for the X1 star deduction is the hardware shown and shown in all the photos which is clearly silver. But for some reason my GOLD?! Definitely a problem as gold is my least favorite. Mentioning BC, I have a feeling that most of us tend to have strong preferences for one or the other. The main compartment is large (tall) with plenty of room for electronics and many other standard wallets! Space shouldn't be an issue, but the main downside I see with the main compartment is the opening width. It's a bit compromised by the zipper that goes around the perimeter (textbook doesn't fit through. So it's not a suitable school backpack option!) 2 strap options adjustable + detachable, with secure stitching and buckles, feels secure at the expected weight full wallet, including personal electronics. At 5ft 2in I can make the straps short enough for my height no problem! My favorite feature is definitely the number of separate outer pockets! For those who love tidiness in their handbag...this could definitely be the one for the task. I love that everything has a specific place! This makes finding things easier. Overall priced at $30... This is a quality bag made with durable materials and great craftsmanship. I want the description to match the specific hardware color.
