Does not protect against storm surges
Sleek, looks well made and bright green when plugged in, BUT the first power surge (lunchtime thunderstorms are regular here in Florida) was too much for this "surge protector". As the lights flickered in my office, my computer and all other "protected" electronics went out as well. If there is a setting that I don't know or a battery that needs to be installed in this device, I don't know because it comes with no instructions, manuals or documents.
- Heavy duty power cord. The heavy-duty 10ft power cord uses 14AWG copper conductors, allowing it to handle the full 15A/1800W NEMA 5-15 rating.
