These cables DO NOT fully connect to the iPad 2 or 3 headphone audio jack. I use these cables extensively for live performance of music from sound sources. I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I got to my show, set up my piano, guitar and iPads and found that the two Ugreen cables I just bought here didn't come complete with the audio output " connectedβ were my two iPads. It worked with iPod touch 2. After comparing the length of the 3.5" jack to others I've had, it's clear that Ugreen has a slightly wider (or taller) bottom protrusion that prevents it from fully mating with the iPad's audio jack ( see picture below). attached photo). Let's see how long the one I might use lasts. Typically, 3.5" to 1/4" cables only last a few months. If this lasts longer I will update this review.
