I use 4 of these for my home theater and they look great (approved by my wife). They come with a cable so you can tie it to the mount (which you need to install first) and have your hands free to make the connections. One of my electrical boxes was a bit deeper than the others, so I had to bend the round bracket a bit to fit it. It's okay if you're a little accommodating. If not, hire an electrician. I use them with the Brilliant Home Controller and they dim, but not as gently as a regular dimming lightbulb. The temperature of the light is slightly colder (whiter) than in the photos. If you're installing them outdoors, I highly recommend caulking the edges all the way around, as you would with most outdoor lights. In general I am satisfied with them, I hope they will last a long time.
