Barrier tape works well. I was concerned that the strap pull back might be too strong and pull on the free standing bollard, or too loose and sag in the middle, but that's about right. Strong winds outside can bend it, especially when stretched to its full length. It has a latch on the end that needs to be pushed up to release the clip from another wall mount.
