Review on πŸͺ‘ Safco SitStar Stool - Height Adjustable, Tractor-shaped Seat, Black with Chrome Base by Ryan Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality and ergonomics

At first I was a bit confused about the price since it's $300 with the back, especially since it's sold in a garage store. However, it is of very high quality, took about 10 minutes to put together and was slow going. No metal screws or other junk, just durable components. The wheel setup was very good though with a split ring on the reel shaft and a hole that tapers slightly so they just slide in with the hole compressing the split ring. Thanks to the five wheels, it is very stable and the tension in the lower back area was noticeably reduced after just a few minutes. The seat and back covers are semi-rigid plastic and I suspect they will withstand oil, gas grease, etc. spills if that happens. The chrome feels thick and very well made, unlike some other "chrome" items I've purchased. I'm 6 feet tall with a 34 inch inseam. I just adjusted the footrest to its lowest position and never looked back. It's not that looks are that important in a store, but it does look professional without flashy logos in weird colors. Height adjustment The range is very wide and I can easily make it too high or too low for a standard height workbench. Please note that the shop shown in the picture is under construction! but I wanted to give an idea of how it would look on these Looking after assemblies from a number of online purchases that took an hour to set up and sometimes changing screws etc I would almost buy another one just to put it together. It was so easy!
