Only 3 stars because the lock is complete nonsense. Set up a combo and now it won't do anything. Not blocked, not reset. Useless. Looks like I'll have to buy a separate padlock now.

I leave my coat in the communal cloakroom where several coats are lost every winter. Bought this after a friend's coat went missing on a very cold day to clip my coat to a hanger. It gets the job done and isn't too bulky. I will surely find another use

Great concept but the lock is tiny, flimsy and useless. The shackle is very small, but what's even more concerning: you can move the lock until it opens. Stopping someone is more of a deterrent than anything resembling actual security.

While the right tool can damage this cable, I doubt the average thief would carry such a tool on a daily basis. I tried cutting such a cable with a heavy duty wire cutter and it wasn't a quick or easy task. Since I'm not subject to on-site inspections, I replaced the lock with a significantly stronger lock with a key. Great product that is well made.

I was looking for something to better protect my camera gear, it worked great. The length of the cord is long enough to allow flexibility in bag/gear size and mounting location. Nothing is 100% theft proof except a safe, but it will definitely deter someone from taking your item or thinking about it.

-It "works":.-Not a fan of pushing/pinching the wire loop to pull it through the "hole in the locking device body" with each use. the ends fray and over time the individual strands of wire fray - why does the manufacturer insist on making/supplying a storage bag that is as small as possible store in the storage bag supplied. Oh, and put a padlock in there.

Lightweight and reliable. I've always used it when me and my kayak were separated. I felt absolutely safe because I knew it was safe. It's not very thick and a good cable cutter cuts through it quickly. However, when you're camping, most people who stumble across a tent and kayak aren't professional thieves with the right tools.
