Review on Sony INZONE Gaming Monitor Dimming 27", 144Hz, HDR, SDMU27M90, HD by David Haywood

Unbelievable but kind of expensive

I'm a HUGE Sony fan, I have Sony TVs, headphones, cameras, even my car stereo is installed in Sony aftermarket. I was very, very excited to try this monitor. And I have to say. This is a great upgrade from my old one (but to be honest my old gaming monitor was 1440p). 4K resolution at this size is like a retina display - it feels like you need a magnifying glass to see pixels. I also like the style - the design is very reminiscent of a modern Playstation and would be great as a monitor for PS5 owners. I really like that the monitor even has some clever features to hide the cord in the base, it's not just aesthetic it's a function. The only downsides are: the wall. If you have a small room with a game table against the wall, the monitor will be a few inches from the wall because of the stand. 2) It's almost unreasonably expensive for a 4k monitor. I mean my sony 4k tv was half the price and bigger than this one. Sure, it has some pretty nice features like higher FPS and GSync, but that still seems like a pretty steep price to pay. If you can justify the price, this is a solid product.
