My cat had 9 litters so I decided to get a crate where I would take her once a day and introduce her to the litter box. I wanted something that I could easily store and clean as well. There were tiny clear screws in this box, but I only used my fingers to tighten them. I put a liner but the litter takes 2 throws! That's a lot more than expected. That's for a big old cat. The size fits 4 kittens and it was fine so we put him in a separate pen. The kittens used it and have kept it ever since. They jumped on him and bent him over and he's still holding on. I remove the filler and throw away the filler. Plastic is easy to clean, albeit flimsy. Although thin, it is durable. I don't know why they ask for scent. .guess it smelled like plastic. It was expected.
